A3C Speaker Series: Staying Ahead of the Curve - Breaking the Tutoring Stigma

Thursday, October 15, 2015 -
12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
Asian American Activities Center

At a school like Stanford, some students believe that tutoring is only for people who can’t “figure out” the problems for themselves. But that extra half hour of help may just be the key to making things click -- and performing well on the exam. Come hear a panel of speakers from the Hume Center (Writing and Speaking) and the Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning (VPTL) as they explain how best to utilize the tutoring resources available at Stanford. Join us for our Speaker Series event on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at noon in the A3C Couchroom in the Old Union Clubhouse, 2nd Floor.
