Speaker Series: Asian Americans in the Workplace

Thursday, May 7, 2015 - 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm
Asian American Activities Center

The myth of the “model minority” doesn’t just stop at graduation: Asian Americans continue to face high expectations in the workplace. This brings unique challenges—people management skills, performance reviews, glass ceilings, cultural challenges, etc.—but also opportunities that can help you stand out in the office. Come hear from Dr. Kathryn Gin Lum, Professor of Religious Studies about how you can avoid cultural pitfalls and turn them into advantages in the workplace.
Join us for our Speaker Series event this Thursday, May 7, 2015 at noon in the A3C Couchroom in the Old Union Clubhouse, 2nd Floor.
