Asian American Sib (AASib) Coordinator/Graduation Team Lead

Alex Nguyen '26

Pronouns: He/Him/His

Ethnicity: Vietnamese

Major: Computer Science

Hometown: Silver Spring, MD

Why you joined the A³C: Coming from a diverse community, I appreciated how the A3C has served as a bridge for students to further explore their identities as Asians and Asian Americans. In a space as historically impactful as the A3C, I wanted to advance this mission by helping other Asian Americans work through these identity-based struggles and carrying out initiatives that address the unique struggles that our community faces.

One thing you love about Stanford: The support systems and resources available to me as a FLI student -- coming from my hometown, I was really amazed to see how there was a service for anything that I needed as a student!

One class/program to participate in before leaving Stanford: Living in Okada! It's such a wholesome and lively space with a vibrant community, especially compared with many of the upperclass dorms here on campus.

Advice to Frosh/anyone on campus: Getting the most out of your Stanford experience doesn't mean taking as many classes as possible. It means to be the best person you can be and explore your interests and passions, all the while creating new experiences that you'll always remember for the rest of your life!
