Why you joined the A³C: The A3C stands as one of the only spaces for Asian American students at any college campus, where we can learn, grow, and exchange ideas on what being Asian American means. That's why being here has been an incredible privilege - thinking about how we can support Asian American identities as an institution can be challenging, but has been rewarding because of the impact that we have on campus and for our students. After all, working here is one of the reasons why I switched to Asian American Studies.

One thing you love about Stanford: Hot take: the quarter system is one of the best things that we have here. Where else can you take classes in so many different areas, study abroad, and still come out of college with a degree? As a student, the quarter system can make it hard to balance our schedule and priorities, but in the end, you learn more about the world, yourself, and what your biggest commitments and values are.

One class/program to participate in before leaving Stanford: Study abroad! Living in a country is incredibly different from being a tourist.

Advice to Frosh: Stanford is more than just your degree. Take some time to breathe in the flowers at the Oval, think about what you want to do beyond your job, and start a conversation with that person you wanted to always be friends with. We only have this place for four years, where we're surrounded by some of the most brilliant people, so make the most of it.
