Hometown: Carmichael, CA

Why you joined the A³C: To learn about Asian American issues, identity, and advocacy. Most of all, to be empowered by the community at the Center to create positive change wherever I go.

One thing you love about Stanford: The arts community, specifically Stanford Spoken Word Collective!

One class/program to participate in before leaving Stanford: Apply for the short-term programs, like Sophomore College! Not every class you will take at Stanford will change your life, but Sophomore College did--it really helped me clarify how I want to spend my time at Stanford and how that fits into my vision of who I want to be.

Advice to Frosh/anyone on campus: Take things slow, and know that it's okay to change your mind! Stanford is a place where it's never too late to pursue a new passion or return to an old one.
