Who May Nominate?

Any member of the Stanford community may nominate for one or more of these awards. Members of the Stanford community are also encouraged to nominate across categories by nominating individuals who are not in their respective organizations or spheres of influence (e.g. faculty members may nominate students and vice versa). The Asian American Activities Center Advisory Board members are not allowed to nominate.

Why Nominate?

There are many individuals in the Stanford Asian American community who have shown great dedication, service and achievement but whose efforts are often overlooked. By honoring these individuals, we remind the larger Stanford community of the continuing growth, diversity and strength of our community as well as the increasing impact of the community not only on Stanford but on communities well beyond campus. Each award recipient receives a plaque to commemorate the occasion, as well as extensive public recognition.
