Professional interests:  Clinical Pastoral Care, Multifaith Pastoral/Spiritual Care, Spiritual/Religious Wellness, Contemplative practices,  Interfaith Community development and dialogue.

Kenneth Nacario Lee (Kula Pradipa Das) is one of our Flourish and Faith chaplain associates at Stanford. He received his chaplaincy training at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey, with the Institute for Clinical Pastoral Training (ICPT) in conjunction with the Spiritual Care Association (SCA). More recently he has worked as a Hospice Care chaplain for the Visiting Nursing association (VNA).

Ken began his theological education in his youth through monastic training and education in the Gaudiya Vaishnava Bhakti tradition.  After later studies in psychology and religion from Rutgers University, he studied at St. Stephens College, New Delhi for a year, before graduating from Rutgers in 2004. Raised in a family of mixed religious heritage, he brings an enthusiasm for diverse faith traditions to his pastoral work as a chaplain.

He has played a very active role as a chaplain, purohit and pujari at the Bhakti Center NYC, a spiritual and cultural center in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. With a background in Hindu ritual and temple worship (pāñcharātra), he regularly performs traditional ceremonies (samskara) marking the junctures of life for his religious community.
