Through programming and advising, the A³C facilitates the multicultural education of all students and the development of leaders who are able to negotiate an increasingly diverse and complex workplace and global environment. The center is staffed by both professionals and students and provide a number of programs and services to connect students to resources and develop leadership potential.  Find more information about the various programs listed in the menu.

The professional staff at the Asian American Activities Center serve as advisors to the student organizations that utilize the center.  The directors are available as resources for student organizational leaders and for individual students. Students can seek advice with issues such as conflict resolution, planning for retreats and major events, campus resources, team building and fundraising.

The A3C Community email listserv is a valuable resource to learn about and share events and opportunities at Stanford and beyond relating to Asian and Asian American issues. As part of your membership on this list, we invite you to publicize for the VSOs and communities with which you’re involved in.

To ensure the list is beneficial to all recipients and meet our mission, all posts must support the success of Asian and Asian American students at Stanford by providing innovative opportunities for scholarship, leadership, and activism. Although we encourage you to embrace your beliefs and we value posts from all sides of every issue, please use your best judgment in posting about topics that are appropriate and relevant for the A3C Community subscribers. 

Posting Guidelines

Here are a few specific guidelines to follow before posting to the list:

  1. Posts should be shared from current students only.  If you are a University Staff, Alumni, or non-Stanford community member, please reach out stanforda3c@stanford.edu.
  2. All posts must relate to scholarship, leadership, or social activism.
  3. Post only from your @stanford.edu address.
  4. Do not post more than twice about a single event. (We consider this spam.)
  5. Do not use offensive language or graphics in your posts.

Ignoring these guidelines will result in your removal from the list.
